| The picture is beautiful, but I found the colors a bit too colorful and bright. As a result of this the part in the shadows has completely been overcast, but I think if the bright parts would have been a little less bright, the image would have been much better. Actually I liked the part of the picture in the mirror/shadows more than the bright parts. I did some experiments by reverting the image i.e. keeping the shadow on the left and the image on the right, and found the image to be more appealing, possibly due to the right-handedness of my brain. |

Although your sense of composition is strong; the use of color here is really masterful, balanced, vibrantly digital; natural flower like tones.

Gosh, here I go again.
I guess my appreciation for natural is far more than many on this site. Manny, I respect and admire your work, and your level of success you have achieved, but in this shot, the only part that really looks natural, is the reflection, and that part is superb! Her eyes and much of her face appear more like a porcelain doll than a real person. Prove me wrong and send me the original so I can owe you the biggest apology this site has ever seen, for the accusation that this is processed too far.
With a great admiration for your skill behind the camera, I have to say this one isn't working for me, again. |

Beautiful skin texture, or rather lack of it - very exciting to think you did it all in available light. I would love to know how to get so good.

You simply must already know this picture is stunning.
Her face is very slender!! It looks a little strange, but then again it looks like there is some beauty there that is not of this earth. Angelic, maybe. I wonder... would this score at the top of the list in a portrait challenge? The composition is very different, so maybe not? But I love the composition as it really helps this shot stand out. It isn't just another portrait.. it is a glimpse into two worlds. The left and right halves of the photo are so different from one another. They clash a lot... bright colors versus faded, muddy color. Then there is a profile view versus the straight on that are different... and finally the lipstick color clashes with the scarf colors, but they really do seem to enhance each other at the same time.
So basically I guess my point is that this photo is a wonderful study in dualism and contradiction. I LOVE IT. |

| I wish that flower wasn't covering part of the eye. Other than that the colors and the comp are spectacular. Love the reflection, lighting, and calirty. Just move that flower a bit......8 |
