 Yes, they're back.. it's the Ali and Rich show. This is another part of the zoo, a shallow river that you can get across on these lashed together poles.

The consensus is that this was great fun, even though Rich had to go back and carry Ali's sandals across for her.

Unfortunately, neither of them managed to fall in. Ah well, can't have everything

Haha, she looks like she's not enjoying this little balance walk as much as him, he's just strolling along soking a cigarette, no problem.

As much as I hate to disappoint you... it's in Belgium, not the US. oh.. and yes, they do have metal slides ;) With the frame built of wood, so they look like huge elephant ears, and the metal slide becomes the trunk

Is this in the US? If so, I must know where this haven of non-lawsuit-fearing, outright fun zoo construction is located, so I can pay it a visit of honor. Do they have metal slides in their playgrounds, too?

Great shot of the intrepid husband going ahead -- cigarette and felt hat make him look like a mock Indiana Jones -- followed by the blond, beskirted oh-I-don't-THINK-so wife with her shoes off. Brilliant. :)
