Very well seen and shot. I just love how you framed the bright people against the dark background! I suggest that you shoot for you. If you happen to hit one most voters like, too, then great. But make yourself happy first and foremost. :)
Also, any score above 6 is good here at DPC. And your commenters obviously loved it! So you have strong evidence you connected with a group. That's my personal goal on every shot. |

i just want to comment on this photo again. Hands down, the best photo in the challenge. A favorite. I hope you realize(as i see you wished it would do better) that this IS the best image of the contest. It sucks it wasn't rated that way and that is only due to DPC voters favorability in sensationalism. |

Good use of the tree for perspective. A nice, happy shot with clean lines. |

My eyes keep going to the windows... maybe chopping some off the top would help?
When I scroll my browser to 'crop' it it works much better for me.
i like the tree against the kid on shoulders - growing etc. |

Nice use of the environment and composition works well with the focal point father and son tucked into a corner but walking into the frame. |

I like the stolen moment of the father and son (assuming, of course). Nice smile on Dad. |

The shadow almost seems to be another person passing by going the other direction. Nice slice of life picture. |

GREAT photo. The quadrant scheme of the photo is fantastic. The tree fits in its little box and the black is pushed over contrasting with the dad. 8 |

This has perfect balance. The three rectangles of the windows, the tree and the man with the boy. I like the highs, lows and medium tones all in perfect harmony with one another. |
