 I couldn't get out on the wharf this morning -- it was closed for some reason, so I went over to Palm Park which runs along the ocean. This is taken over the Mission Creek Estuary. All week we have had a series of beautiful sunrises, but today the marine layer was playing around again, so I had to settle for the sun poking through the marine layer. Actually, I don't think it's too bad of a trade-off.

Taken around 6:20 a.m.

This is a really interesting photo. The sun and its reflection in the water is beautiful of course. But the colored lights behind the trees caught my eye and then I looked just beneath the trees. Are there people sleeping on the beach?

So pretty & so calm. I leave for the beach in 2 weeks from today & this picture makes me very ecxited for my vacation!

Gasp!!!

Beautiful soft muted yellows and the palm trees create a great leading diagonal line

Are there people camping on the beach? Is so what a great vista to wake up to

I love the fact that through the trees you can see a number of traffic lights at various stages of their sequence, which under pins that just a few yards away from this calm modern life exists

Golden tones are fantastic, and what I really like is how the light/reflection tapers off to the right side of photo, into the darker, misty area.

nice! i love the golden yellows and the grey tones... they work nicely together to create a dreamy effect. the shadows are lovely and the line of trees fading into the distance is very pleasing to the eye!
