 I took this on the same bike trip as this challenge entry.
During that bike trip, I was going really fast down the trail and a stick was out in the trail sticking upwards. I didn't see it untill I was right infront of it and it went into my spokes, sending me and my camera gear over the handle bars. No gear was hurt, I was a little. I just got back on my bike and saw this marsh later on, where I took this photo. I used a gradual neutral density filter to darken the sky.

Post Processing: RAW conversion, levels, shadow/highlight (both up slightly), dodge and burn foreground reeds, dodge background reeds, resize, USM, border

I find the colors just beautiful and perfectly saturated. The blue is gorgeous. Surprised this didn't do better.

I find it a little too saturated and bright. More sedate tones might bring out the shapes better.

Looks like a nice place for fishing. Of course a better time of day would be dusk or dawn for fishing AND for capturing an artistic photograph. Looks like midday with rather harsh lighting. JMO of course. Good luck.
