I Live in Jackson Hole Wyoming and this is one of the trademarks of this town. The Antler Arches. This arch was just redone this spring. The new antlers are so beautiful compared to the old white ones. The sky was wonderful then as well so this is a picture of that part of my life, the arches I see everyday.

This is certainly a slice of life photo. I would never have heard of something like this. Very interesting picture!

Thats a wonderful shot, I love the complexity of the antlers, and the composition that holds it to the corner of the frame

Until I read your description, I thought this was a close-up of a thorn bush. I've never been to Wyoming and I'd never heard of the Antler Arches until today. Hard to believe that many Elk shed their antlers, and that there is more than one arch.

It's a dramatic photo, with the incredible "texture" in the foreground and the cloudy blue sky behind.

Uh... antlers not on an animal creeps me out. I do understand they shed them, but still. Like snake skin... ewwwww. Great capture of the texture on the antlers. I like the sky as the BG. Very nice.

Oh my word....This kind of macabre...Ah they real antlers? Where did they come from (well deers obviously but you know what I mean) and what is the arch leading to

When I saw the thumb nail I thought it was a really vicious thicket bush so it was a shock when I opened it up

Lovely sharpness on the antlers

what an interesting subject! why on earth are there so MANY antlers available for arches? (do i want to know the answer to this??) love the diagonal you have created here. might be nice to pull a bit more blue out of your lovely sky. love the cloud... it's a bit ominous (especially for the deer!)

I never knew such a thing existed (the arch, not the antlers!). Nice use of the diagonal.
