 Flowers from the Rittenhouse Farmers Market. Vase from my collection of way toooooo many. Backdrop new from an Art Store on Sunday. It's the back side of the paper as a matter fact. The front has great gobs of metallic gold paint which was not what I was looking for. Some of the paint came throught the back side as was expunged from this image. But the back side, I think, gives a bit of a Monet feel. I mean to go get a few more sheets....they blur pretty, too. ;)!

Fantastic purchase that paper. The background works perfectly with this shot. And the vase is great too, that diagonal sure helps and the diagonal of the flower slant mimics it.
That background adorns your perfect composition.

My first impression is of the color. The Delphinium stand out from the artful BG. The light on the BG seems different from then light on the flowers, works very well.

I set a jar in Tennessee,
and round it was, and on a hill:
it made the slavering wilderness
surround that hill.

I love this photo! Monet is my favorite artist and yes..the background is beautiful. This would have been a wonderful image for the Still Life challenge! I would have given it top marks!
