Took this shot off of my front porch pretty much. There was was bad storm that had just passed and this was the aftermath. Nothing but beautiful rays shining through the clouds onto the neighbor's cornfield. I loved the difference in colors and how they all contrasted together from the sky down. I think this was my best shot of the month, I took a bunch of people shots and flower shots, but I am getting sick of doing the same thing. I was hoping to catch a tornado but the storms never got that bad. :P Hope everyone enjoys, and any constructive critisism is welcomed.
Adjustments:
Shot in Raw
Created HDR with single shot.
Changing exposures to -2.0, 0, +2.0
Tonemapped and merged in Photomatix.
In Jpeg
Hue & Saturation, Selective color, Curves, USM, Channel Mixer to bring out sky and corn. Brightness & Contrast. Add border, Resize, Sharpen, Neat Image, Save for Web. |

| Love the colors of this. The rays of the sun really add to the shot, as does that little hint of purple on the horizon. |

| funky blown clouds hurt this one ... if you'd cropped those out I think that this would be much stronger ... love the blue tones in the sky and the waves of the corn field ... the streaking sunlight adds lots of visual interest and draws my eye right to the field ... |
