New to this critique lark.Having read some of the other comments I've added a Strimmer, Chain saw, and bullet proof vest to my camera bag.
I've checked around and found the image in B/W and have to say I prefer it.Also took a look at your website and recommend that others do so.
The canal walk photo would make a decent windows background.
Overall I like to shot.It fitted the brief and was well set up

Unique, you never see this kind of "sign" much. |

Looks like a grave marker to me. very strange road sign. I might've tried going greyscale with this one. Not a lot of color to be lost if you did. |

B&W would mask the drab sky and add emotion. Good eye. |

what some people won't do..lol...nice idea, the piece of long grass/weed takes away a little on the right. |

longer weed a bit distracting. Tree in background invades the sign's space somewhat. Interesting sign! |

Oh, this is classic! I love it - has to be in the UK - great shot, great composition. |

I like the composition of this shot but would like to lose the tall piece of grass in the right foreground. I also think that the wall and sign could be a little sharper.

I like the texture on the old stone wall and on the sign. IMHO it would gain from cropoing out some of the right-hand side. |

neat sign, subject is too small though, even if the environment adds to the effect |
