This picture is wonderful. I love the elegance of it,the innocence.

Thasnks for the comments.
Sure you can see her face but its not the main part.
Anyway, I suppose you had to be there to feel the emotion.
I usually get these challenges wrong anyway.
Thanks for the crack though.

Cheers.
Joe

Beautiful heirloom photo. I'd love to see it in black and white.

The face is a major element conveying emotion, contrary to the challenge's title and guidelines.

This looks like an outtake from a professional wedding shoot? What can I say, it's a lovely picure. I'm not sure about how extreme the emotion is other then the circumstances.

Faceless???

"Forever" you mean right? Her face seems out of focus, the pose doesn't bring out any emotion. My personal taste is for original, creative and edgy bride photos. A color background would have helped...pretty bride, your composition is good.

Lovely image, but I'm not seeing much in the way of extreme emotion. If I look at her face I sense peace and meditative reflection (but we're not supposed to need a face for the emotive part of this). Hmmm. Perhaps there's something deeper here that's not obvious. Sorry if I missed it. Best of luck to you in the challenge.

Ahh, this would've been good with say...a veil over her face. I think that this still shows too much - enough to convey some emotion. Good picture though.

Nice and soft lighting - Not too sure I like the background - Actually I do like it but it's too close and too in focus.

Beautiful image but I think that we disagree on the word faceless...

Nice portrait, but what am I looking at? Extreme serenity?
07/26/2007 09:28:23 PM
i am pretty sure i can see her face - you know i have scored every photo in the challenge and I went to the forums to see what people were saying about faceless and it is mixed - so since that is the case I am scoring anything with a face a 5 since i can't omit my vote - nothing about the photography - it is quite a nice photo - just not sure how to score it. good luck

A beautiful wedding shot but not faceless might have been better if you had just focused on her hands against the dress

Her face is really the subject.

Face is too much of the focus along with the rest of the body

Do I think this image shows "Extreme Emotion": Somewhat, yet it's not really faceless? 4.
