This area marks the spot where four teens died after speeding 60 km over the limit. Their car veered off the highway onto the grass median, and became airborne. The two-seater car, with four people in it, rolled end over end down the side of the highway for about 100 metres before coming to rest in this ditch. That was November 11. No one has touched the crosses or the flowers, now long wilted. They remain a reminder about this sad loss.

Good journalism, sad reminder, shot succeeds despite the skewing.

Interesting to note that 'Chantel/le' is spelt differently on both monuments (poor signwriter or friends who only knew her by nickname?).

A little heartbreaking scene... Black and white is appropriate. This one caption just about describes everything what happened.

Nice idea - the slanted frame distracts a bit.

A slight step to your left and a step back so that the cross was full in the frame and could be read a tad more easier would have improved this a little more, I think. It's an interesting shot, certainly makes one think while viewing it. The black and white was a good choice to make it seem somewhat harsher. An unfortunate photo opportunity, but a good message to send.

Great original idea. Well seen. Ideal for black and white. Well done.

It were a dificult shoot to compose? There are many components on it. Is dificult to understand it at first time.
