 I liked the symmetrical lines of these little 'pimples' on this lilly. Shot was taken handheld at 1/25 which amazed me considering the sharpness.

EDIT: Very Basic really. Grayscale, duotone, levels, smart sharpen, some selective dodge and burn, blur and sharpen, noise reduction. I cloned out these little white spots that looked like white powder. I like the final image shapes.

PREDICTION: After a few challenges of under 6's, could this one score above six??? Let's see. I know people love to hate flower shots. 6.3???

POST: Not doing all that great lately. I really love this image, so I guess that's all that matters :-)

The detail, DOF, and composition in this shot are just outstanding. The duotone gives this photo a soft almost meditative feeling. I fairly certain I hear classical piano playing in the background of this photo!

This has such a striking, bold look. I'm amazed too that you could get that sharpness -- like a macro photo -- at 1/25!! You must have one steady hand :)

very good composition in this close-up. good DOF, by reducing the photo to b/w you put the emphasis on the repetition. good solid work and technique
