I'm worried many people may think this is a bit of a stretch for this particular challenge. I like that you used a shallow depth of field to blur the boy and the background. The colors are vivid, but still natural, which I like :-) |

The smirk on the kid's face pretty much makes this picture - which wasn't the point. |

I think that you and I may have different definitions of the word faceless... Your focal point is a little confusing to me. Were you trying to take a shot of the scorpion or the boy looking at the scorpion? If it was the second then your focus should have been on the boys face. The way the focus is here looks a little awkward.
