 Just arranged these for purposes of the still life challenge. No one should worry about my mental health, although I can understand the implications of the photo. Sorry about the gun, but it does add emotion to the still life. The watch and pocket knife are family heirlooms.

Captured in RAW format. Processed in Apple's Aperture. Exposure +.071, Saturation 1.22, contrast +0.05, highlights 20.7, shadows 27.6, levels adjusted, cropped and rotated. Opened as TIFF file in PSE4. Converted to 8 bit and sRGB. Noise Ninja to reduce noise. Hot pixels and sensor dust removed. USM filter passes. Resized to 640 pixels on the longest dimension, proportions constrained. Save for web... to jpg file at 150 kb optimized.

I think a more subtle lighting would have added mood to the photo.

alcohol and guns dont mix however put a bullet hole through that watch and a old guy drinking then

This shot appears to be a little too closely cropped. Apart from the watch and rounds everything else is leaving shot and is not complete. It may have improved the shot to have a complete glass for instance.

Focus and lighting in good but the composition of some of the objects lets the shot down.

I live in spain iam not used to see things like this for personal defense.

Really do not like the idea that personal defence can go together with Blended scotch Whiskey. Scary photograph / idea for a person from europe.

The sharpness of this photograph/ is great also the combination of the bullits and the scotch .
