I see this as a portrait instead of a traditional "Still Life" - not necessarily mutually exclusive. The lighting is a bit off as his shirt is blown out.

I'm not voting on this one because I don't want to give a really low score. This is not a Still Life. A Still Life requires an arrangement of inanimate objects.

I didnt think this image met the challenge very well, it was also very plain.

a still life should neither contain people nor landscape, nor architecture (except from architectural details). Besides that, the lights are blown.

Looks like a portrait to me. The definitions of "still life" consistently call for an image of inanimate objects, so this picture doesn't seem to meet the challenge, even if he is standing still.
