| The composition and the elements you have gives it a deep jungle exotic feeling. I get the feeling of the humid air that you find there. The nice half circle of the fungus gives it a cool abstract shape . The vibrant colors of the subject is very nice. The green color of the moss around the subject really helps to make it pop out of the shot. |

| If the aperture could have been a bit smaller and the depth of field extended to bring just that bit more of the fungi into focus this would have been great. A couple more stops exposure would (I think have brought out that little more detail in the dark area and plant above it. Really nice composition |

| NG for sure! Interesting composition that works quite well. The far edge (of the fungi) is just a tad bit blurry, not sure if this was intentional though, other than the, the DOF is quite good. |

| would like to see the entire edge of the mushroom in the dof, as that is the actual subject. could also be a bit brighter in the exposure. |

| Congrats on the cover photo! ;) Unique subject - a bit fuzzy on the back end. Supportive composition and dof on the surrounding surface. Id like some more light on the main subject to give it some punch. In all, nicely done |

| Another yellow border..... for some reason there are lots of them this time around. (SMILE) For me it instantly says NG. Good job. |

| I know that national geographic uses the yellow border but it just doesn't work well with this shot in my opinion. |
