 This is the third photo in a series, all distinctly different photos taken of the same exact landscape, on the same day, about 10 seconds apart. The first photo was entered into the Rhythm challenge as a narrow 160x640 vertical slice of the frame, featuring the reflective rhythms of sky/reflections, Haystack Rock/Sand, land/sea. The second in the series was entered into the Still Life challenge as a narrow 640x160 horizontal slice of the frame, featuring the reflection of clouds on the still surface of wet sand. This July Free Study entry is a study of impressionistic methods in photography, combining the vertical and horizontal previous two studies to capture the image of the light playing in the atmosphere as reflected in pointalistic impressions upon the wet sand reflective surface.

amazing that yo get so many goo dimages out of on esession! nicely done

I gave this an 8; I think the water reflections are beautiful, like an Impresionistic painting, and the beach/horizon is creatively placed, with the angle to keep the eye wandering a bit..
good finish.

I think I would have liked your photo better without so much dead space in the bottom. Or maybe if I could see the cloud that's reflected in the water in the sky as well.

Very nice impressionistic feel to this with the watercolor reflections. He-he. I just noticed your title. :D Guess we're in agreement. :P
