| to fix the background you could have adjusted the brightness/contrast(photoshop) both +10. then, as kind of a different look at the picture, do auto levels. obviously an excellent picture prior to any adjustment |

My only real regret with this shot was not getting the background white enough and not getting the splash bigger. I thought about a black background but I felt it lost that "Sparkly and Fresh" feel I wanted to project.
I am new with stop action and it was a trip trying ot do it with a slow reacting digicam! Just trying to explore as many techniques as I can :-) |

| Was one of my tens - like this a lot. I wonder if a black background would make the ice stand out, or if it needs better lighting to really pop ? |

| Its been a hard decision, but this is my one 10 of the week. Great job capturing this moment. The scratch thing at the bottom left bothers me a little but i can look past it. Good job! |

This is one of my fave photos of the whole week! I gave it a 10. The reason being that the colours are so clear, and the bubble and, oh everything is perfect!

| Well done. The only thing I would recommend is a different colored background to give it some contrast. The green in the head of the berry may have been just the right background as well. |

| very nicely done. the only thing that bothers me about this shot is the very muted color range. i feel like the whites need to be whiter and the reds need to pop more. maybe a bit more light would have helped it accomplish this. but it's a nicely executed shot nonetheless. 8. |

| Fruit and bubbly water, can't go wrong! Very nice. I think I just realized the title meaning (I was thinking splash as descriptive, not active) The rear strawberry had just "jumped in", right? Very cool idea, but it didn't translate into still as well. I only really "got it" when I tried to figure out why the rear strawberry didn't have bubbles on it. Great shot either way! 9 Swash |
