That is one thick tree trunk. Beautiful green hues in the leaves gives it a 3D look. Contrast is very good. |

What an amazing tree! As a bonsai enthusiast, I am drawn to trees and their shapes and ages. Incredible! Maybe could have used a little more definition on the trunk though. Nice picture! |

beautiful photo, except for NG I would think you'd need to see the entire tree [limbs and all] as they're all about displaying the whole splendor or the subject. |

good color. I like the way you filled the frame. Maybe tone the border down next time, doesn't need to be that large. |

The colors are brilliant, and the tree seems to stand out from the others, as it should. |

Where is this tree located... when I was last in South Africa we went to Kruger... is this anywhere between Johannasburg and Kruger? Nice picture. |

a wide angle would do wonders for this shot... would accentuate the wide circumferance tooted in the title. great colors saturation. |

My mother lives in Miami, and a good friend of hers has this tree growing in her yard....it is a young tree, and not much yet to look at yet. Recently, someone knocked on her door and offered her $10,000 for the tree! Amazing!! Nice photo! |

maybe at another point of view to be able to see the hole three and to appreciate more the circumference would be more interesting. A little over saturated tho. Beautiful place |

Lot of detail in that title ;) Strong subject well placed in the frame. Small distraction of light area lower right. Good detail in trunk and branches. |

Why does the word 'baobab' remind me of bad habits long ignored? Can I blame it on Antoine de Saint Exupéry? (A nice shot - and well worthy of NG mag! It reveals to the readers something that many North Americans will find exotic & unusual!) |
