 nothing spectacular today (as if there's ever anything spectacular... anyway). We stopped off at a friend's house really quickly and I liked the way the setting sun hit their fence and oak tree. I wish the distant oak tree wasn't there but I didn't have time to whip out the chainsaw and Take Care Of It. Also, this looks way better without the square crop but I already broke that rule once and I didn't want to push my luck. ;-)

Great colors. The sky reminds me of a Maxfield Parrish painting.

I flew out there in the night time cut the top of the oak tree with hand saw and lopper great picture

This looks very peaceful. The sky is such a pretty blue, it ties in well with all the bright colors & the white border really ties it all together nicely, I really like this shot!

Looks like there is a beautiful mountain range in the background - looks like your friends live in a beautiful spot! Love the gradient in the sky and the shadows cast by the sun. You did a good job capturing a very peaceful moment (and the chainsaw would have interrupted that so good thing you didn't have one with you!)

I really like the composition of this the beautiful blue sky in the right of the frame provides lovely negative space, the fencing a strong doiagonal and the tree is captured very well

Not spectacular? I think it is in a wonderful understated way
