 Well its now 1am on Friday morning and I have just walked back in the house having left at just before 6 to partake in Hard Thursday

Hard Thursday is the once a year day in the company I work for's diary when we have to go through

An Audit Committee Meeting
A Full Board Meeting
Our AGM
and our Annual Dinner

All within the third day

This year Hard Thursday was made even harder as I had an eraly meeting with an organisation we work with and the AGM also included voting for and the results of a major ballot for non Executive Directors

This years Hard Thursday went very well (Though it was still hard) much of it down to the magnificent efforts of every single member of the team who work with me

Their commitment to what we are trying to achieve is amazing and I find them a constant source of support and inspiration

Anyway I had hoped to take a few shots at the Annual Dinner but to be honest I was rushing around madly and the vast majority of the few I took were two bob.

This is probably my favourite, it is of the chandelier that hangs over the main staircase at the Institute of Directors on Pall Mall where we held the event

The shot doesnt really do it justice but at the moment I am just wanting to post something and go to bed

Ah, I was hoping Hard Thursday was a day when everyone partied all day in London & you had some crazy stories to share :) Sounds like you had a exhausting week, I really like this shot, the crystals really stand out!

What a good DPCr you are! After that harrowing day to still take a photo, process it, post it and write a story. Wow. Love the chandelier - kind of an optical illusion effect. Or maybe I'm just tired...

Neat shot. I love taking pictures "straight up", and if there is no one around except my family, have been known to lie down flat on my back to get a shot.

Glad you survived Hard Thursday until next year. 8)

You are one busy dude. That is a crazy long day but sounds like it was quite exciting. And then look, you still make the time to come in and share your day with us. :)

I bet this chandelier is gorgeous to see in person. Were the lights dimmed so you could see all the crystal reflections? You caught some nice patterns and lines - almost like a wheel and spokes. This is the kind of picture that makes you wonder what the surroundings look like.
