| A self-portrait takien whilst holding the camera? If it is, youhave made a reasonable fist of it, if not, you need to spend a bit more time considering the composition. Either way, as a stand alone photograph, there are some problems - in particular, the enlarged forearm, which is just too close to the camera. That said, you have obviously takentime to consider the light, the background and the pose, which is good. |

| Too much detail is lost in the darks. I can't see where here hair ends and the background begins. Also could be a tad sharper. The arm is a bit too prominent in the foreground like that. Nice eye contact. Her shirt is also a bit distracting. Just my opinion on seeing the picture for the first time. Hope you find it helpful and not just critical. |

| Way too dark, the way her hair blends in with the background it makes her look bald... which could have worked to your advantage with a bit of creative cropping, but when you know she has hair it just looks really odd. The expression is engaging though I wish her arm wasn't so prominant in the shot. The border is unecessary. |
