 This is the receptionist at my company. She is so funny. She makes me laugh every day, all day. The office now has a "Chi-Chi dance" that we all do. Gotta love her. She was sweet enough to let me take shots of her after work today. We went to the playground. This was my fave, which probably means voters will hate it. But I like it. :)

I think when people see the word Portrait, they think 'serious'. This is a fun portrait, great technically (dof, lighting, focus). Think people scored it low because it wasn't serious, which is a shame because it is quite nice. Reading your description of your friend, looks like you captured her true self, which makes a great portrait.

Underrated, underrated!! What a great expression! I like the DOF, really makes you focus on her open eye and little freckles on her scrunched up nose.

I don't know if they hated it, but they definitely didn't embrace...too bad because it deserved better. Great job on this portrait!

It looks like a lucky grab. I don't know how much she likes this, but it is a cute expression. Definitely not your standard portrait. It's a little washed out on the left side and it would be nice to see her mouth in the DOF.
