I'm guessing the tats are Chinese and not Japanese since the Japanese would mean "Pure and Beauty" or "Spiritual and Beauty" but would not be used together by Japanese. To be honest, the first character in Japanese also means sperm (Or is that too much information?? lol)

As far as the photo goes, nice idea but it looks like the arms/shoulder are in focus but the face is a bit out of focus or soft. 5

A well considered portrait. I am currently unconvinced by the hand (I had at first glance taken it to be the models)- why is it there, what does it add? I shall revsit later in the week and see if my perception changes. The dark background combined with the border works very well. I particular like the way the light catches the necklace.
