 The perfect storm....trying to save a picture of your child, trying to use noise ninja for the first time, trying to get as many shots on goal on my old 2mpixel camera to get a high-ish score...

Okay image, WAY TOO MUCH NOISE REDUCTION!

A little harsh on the neat image effect..but the tones and lighting are great.

Hi Peter, talk about an underrated shot! I gave you a 7 teetering on an 8. I think the tones are absolutely gorgeous here. I love how the light shines through the feather.

This is a great picture, but I do see one problem. The child holding the quill is the subject of this shot. The paper is just an afterthought, at least for me.

seems like a bit too much neat image was used ... skin and feather have lost the details ... nice b/w conversion and good composition

Almost. WAAAAaaaaay to neat imaged. to much noise removal going on here. the kid's watch is also distracting.
