 Having fun with flowers and pictures of flowers. Bought this flower planning on taking it alone. The more I looked at it I thought it looked like one I already had a shot of hanging in my dining room and thought, well, what about something like this. I tried to make it look like the new flower was admiring the old one. This was harder than it looks. The weird crop and angle are because I had the hardest time not getting reflections and this was the best one. I could have taken the picture out of the glass, but that would have been too much like work!

This is very interesting. I like the idea a lot. If you try again with a polarizer maybe have the live flower looking from the top right as if its facing it? Seems like it would also be an interesting shot. Who knows though. I love the variations everyones coming up with now and this is no exception.

Thanks guys for the idea, only thing is probably would be a little hard attaching a polarizing filter to my camera ;( I don't even think they make such a thing.... What I need is a better camera, yeah, that's it!

thanks for the explanation, I think it worked out good. some of the color from the art is showing up in the real flower, which adds.

I can just hear the the flower saying "when I grow up I want ot be just like..."
Fun image. I think the angle on the framed photo gives this image the movement it needs.
