 I've been pretty busy lately trying to take stock of my life, and clean out the old and bring in the new. Part of that for me, is going through all my "junk" and cleaning it out. Well, my closet is full of stuff that I haven't worn in years. So, I pulled a lot of it out, and made piles of "to go" and "stay". These are a pair of my shoes that Nicole decided to "walk" in. It's not a great image, but I had to act quickly because right after I snapped this, she got on her belly on the ground and started coming at the camera saying, "Cheeeeeese!!!!"

I just converted this to b/w with a soft blur, obviously. But my hallway is pretty dark. So that's that.


And yes, jonfrommk, they are on the wrong feet :)

What do you mean, 'not a great image...', it sure is!! The contrast is awesome, love the b&w, and the feet in motion stepping into those big girl shoes is just wonderful! Now if I could just train one of my cats to do this I'd try to duplicate this image :-)

This is a great capture! I like that it's out of focus, it gives it the innocence that really makes it speacial.

Fantastic SDOF shot!! I LOVE IT!! very very good! Taking stock...yes am there, doing that! Clearing out the clutter can sometimes really help with the clarity, don't cha think? anyway, very nice, very artistic piece, I love the symbolic message of a childs feet in adult shoes! brilliant idea!! I think we all feel that way sometimes, like a child in an adult world...I don't know maybe it's just late on a Friday night, lol. Fantastic shot, really makes me think...

ACtually I think it is a pretty good image. The black and white contrasts along with the blur and softness make this look like an artpiece. Nice symbolic concept.

Actually I think this is a very interesting image. It really gets my mind going, wondering what is happening. These are clearly women's shoes, and the b&w adds a touch of elegance, but there is something so awkward about the legs (it makes sense now that I know it's a child). The softness is nice, too.

I really like this as an art shot, the virtual silhouette and blur is quirky and the fun feeling is added to by the fact that (if I am not mistaken) Nicole has the shoes on the wrong feet

Its odd I am not a big fan of feet (though I do recognise they serve us well) but do like shoes (well nice ones like these anyway)...but I do like this picture

Precious moment captured for all eternity. I love the thought of periodically clearing out the junk that over takes our lives as if by magic. I do this every time I move.
