 Yep - first one - I dragged my son and his friend out (they were kicking and screaming) to some forest by our place and came up with this. This is my son, Cameron. I really like this one, but I'm partial :-).

I'm sure there will be excellent pictures submitted in this competition - so I'll be curious to see where this ranks.

this needs to be sharper, focus first on the eyes. nice first attempt

I like the use of black & white. I think color would have been too busy on the eyes. For me, the outer border is a bit too bug, but I like the quirky smile on his face. Nicely done.
