 July 16th:
Hi, my name is Kelly & I'm a Harry Potter fan :) I think I was 15 when the first book came out, and I've read every book since (and I'm hoping to have time to pick up the final book this weekend). I was able to go see the newest Harry Potter movie tonight at the IMAX & had a great, much needed, relaxing evening. This is a picture of the 5th book that I managed to locate & thought it was appropriate to sun up my lovely evening.

I've got the final book on pre-order (something I've never done before), but I didn't want to pay for expedited shipping, so it won't arrive until about a week after the official start date.

You managed to keep the light from reflecting off of the book cover, which is good! :-)

I too seized upon these books as soon as they came out, despite the fact they were geared towards kids. I love all of them. Can't wait for the last, though now I won't have anything to look forward to once it is done. You caught such exacting color. I have read this one 3 times.

Ahhh well Daisy went to see the film on Saturday and she reported that it was very cool (though there was a bit of disappointment that Harry kissed someone in it....Yuck who would want to do that)

Sorry to go off on another one, but I saw Daniel Ratcliffe in Equus in the West End of London the other week. Got to say that I was impressed, the boy can act (and if you get a chance, see him in the Ricky Gervais series 'Extras' where he also shows that he has got a very good sense of humour and the ability to laugh at himself)

Nice reminder! I'm a big Harry Potter fan too, and I wasn't anywhere near being a kid when the first book came out :-) I have all of the books (on CD actually) and all of the movies.
So, how did you like the movie????

Kelly, We're all Harry Potter fans. I started reading them with Megan when she was young enough to read to. Now I read read them to myself.
