| I agree about the stamens/pistol tips (whatever they're called) comments but the texture of the petals here is very nice. |

| Would have liked to see more focus on the stamen in this shot and the border seems a bit uneven. I'm fond of vivid colors so the colors works for me. |

I did notice you & pixel pig are in the sam eframe of mind today..hehe
this is sure bold & very bright, while there's great detail in the petals, I wish the pistil tips were sharper, not sure what aperture you used, & if going for the tips would have lost your sharp focus on the longer parts |

| Hey, we're side-by-side, how cool is that? I love the color, of course. You have your focus more on the petal behind, nothing wrong w/that. The shadows are lovely. |

| The cavernous space created is wonderful, yellow cliffs rising. Nice. Wish the top of the pistols were more in focus but no mater this is spectacular. |
