 My daughter looking out a friend's window. I liked the gauziness of the curtains, but with this crop they weren't easy to distinguish, so I decided to brighten them to full white.

Editing: a few gothic glow layers at various transparencies, a little sharpening, and cropping.

Pleasing portrait of a pretty girl. The subdued colour palette suits the mood well. My only gripe is that I am not altogether comfortable with the composition for the age of the child - the perspective doesn't allow enough attention on her face.

The light here makes her skin look quite nice. My issue with this image is it doesn't show much, I think we need to be able to see more of her face and her thought process, esp with this downward angle in addition to her head turned, we lose all sight of her eyes.
