| I like the profile you've captured...very interesting angle of view, but the image appears too dark and the animals head is blending in with the background. Meets the challenge theme well. |

| Its too underexposed. This kind of has a dark artsy feel to it, which I like. I don't feel that's a good quality in the photojournalistic world of magazines like NG. It's a little too much like a mug shot. |

| The soft, fluffy texture of the penguin contrasts nicely with the rough look of the ice. Both are rendered well enough to make that contrast clear. |
