I like the lighting, it really gives the wall some texture. |

very good job creating an anthropological/archaeological "look." The only hint of civilization here is that he peeled the banana and is holding it rather delicately. One wonders if this isn't early man on the brink of civilization. He does seem to be pausing. It could be the very moment that our furry Adam decided life could be better. "What other bananas are out there for me to peel?" The missing link between cave man and city man. |

Good concept and I like the lighting. I would like to see a dirtier subject to help the idea along. |

You know, if this was a Robert Mapplethorpe photograph its connotations would be entirely different. The simple visibility of background prevents it being such, however. Oh, and the banana. It's more an indictment of dpc that this seems simply simplistic and even a little ... I don't quite know the word: unsympathetic, dystopian perhaps. I wish I didn't see a a certain crassness in it - I mean, the banana for heaven's sake - but I'm afraid I do. I'll be very very interested to see where this rates: its actually a true assessment of style versus content. |

Very nice capture. the only think that I keep wondering though is what is his left hand doing. I can't see it and therefore my attention kind of draws to it. The gentle balck and white though is a great idea and the photo itself was shot very well. Someone really needs to shave that man!! |

Very well done. Great pose and placement. I was going to complain about low contrast on the person, but I think I like how you've edited it. |

The banana kind of ruins the mood but the technical aspects of the shot are great. I'd have him holding a big ol' turkey leg or hunk of raw meat. Well done though. |
