Halfway through and I seem to have an excess of yellow in my portfolio! Gotta' plant some more purple flowers ;-)

Managed to get a shot of one flower in bloom and all sorts of buds pointing towards the sun this morning. Physically removed a dead flowerhead which spoilt the image in my viewfinder.

PP - convtered from RAW, cropped, increased contrast, burnt a little, colored some dead petals green so they were less noticeable, added border, resized, sharpened.

MaryO I think this is one of your best of this month. the diagonal placement of the flower the clarity of the image & that sweet lighting bring this together very well.
