The white t-shirt masks the smoke, which rather defeats the purpose of the composition! |

I think the shot would be more effective if the subject was blowing the smoke into the black background, rather than his white shirt. |

i'm having a compassion with this shot.. the model should wore black shirt. to really precise the smoked coming from his mouth.. and it'll be look good it i think... ;) |

make the shirt black, the background white and it would really bring out the smoke! (7) |

A darker shirt would have really set this off nicely... this is a very similar idea to the cover of this month's Rangefinder... |

I don't think the white t-shirt works with the smoke for a moody look. The lighting is good for it but a darker top would have worked better |

The fall-off of light in this is just lovely. I think you probably needed to give the smoke some context (a setting or a cigarette etc) as it draws the eye a bit too much. As a naturally lit portrait this is great! |
