I work in a small team, there's only 4 of us to cover EMEA, and you've already seen one colleage on day 8, Wout the evil monkey. Today, not to be outdone, we have Sheldon, the dark side of the sysadmin.
This was the only half way serious shot I could get of him, as to say Sheldon mugs for the camera is something of an understatment. (just don't ask him about his days as a tractor model)
Contrary to how it may appear, he's actually a really funny bloke, constantly ready with a story that you *reallY* feel you shouldn't laugh at in polite company. The slightly spooky thing is that although we both work in Belgium, we discovered after a few weeks of working together, that we were actually both born not only in the same hospital, but the same ward.
Cropped, converted to b&w, levels, dodging,
Here's the original:

It's always great when your co-workers are entertaining, this guy definitely looks like he has quite a personality. I love the B&W! |

Yikes... This came jumping out of the monitor at me first thing in the morning. Great processing and b&w. |

Thanks very much, yes there was a blown highlight in the eye, which looked just plain wrong so it was darkened down quite a bit |

That is a very good intimidation look. Kinda scary. |

Did you do some dodging on the eye on the right? That creates like this sense of two people in one photo. The more lit side which is scowling at you and the darker side which is just watching you. Pretty cool! |

What a look you've captured here. I like the overall dark look, it adds to the expression. |

Looks like a fun person to work with. Maybe a little too dark on the right, though I appreciate the effect. |

I wouldn't want to mess with him. Great dark treatment to go with the title. Great story. It is such a small world. |
