I like the composition, but not the blue lighting.
On my dark monitor, I can't even find the clown. A spotlight on it would make him more visible.

I find it interesting that some people say the clown should have been under the bed and others like me think he's in a perfect position. In a way it gives us a hint to the nightmares we all had as kids and even now.

Personally I was never scared of anything under my bed, because I had a big waterbed growing up so nothing even could be under my bed. I used to always see stuff just on the edge of my bed though. There was an antique icechest straight down the hall from my bed that I would stare at for hours, unable to sleep, because it looked like a black shadow big monster.

Now that I'm older, when I'm alone in my apartment I'm scared to open my eyes sometimes, because I'm scared someone will be standing at the foot of my bed watching me. To me it's absolutely terrifying knowing that someone or something is watching me when I'm most vulnerable and unaware.

Personally if I were to wake up and see a clown at the foot of my bed I'd probably make a confused face and say outloud "what the hell..." I'd be more afraid of just a guy, unmasked, standing there.

Just a little dark but it's a great shot - really awesome use of lighting. I'd love to see you do it with a bit better exposure.

You should have place the clown under the bed, that would have been really creepy!! Plus, you've got great light under there, and where you've placed the guy at the foot, you can't really see he's a clown.

Good idea. It's hard to see the clown at the end of the bed and its actions don't look menacing. Since the title said "Clowns" if you had one peering out from under the bed it would really make the picture. Also maybe if the one clown was climbing out from under the bed.

That is actually quite disturbing. I didn't see the clown at first... and then the Guns and Roses poster.. simply terrifying, heh.

I like the lighting and pose on the clown. Very effective.
