I am very happy with this new PB...and the high average from commenters (9.2110!! I can't believe it).

I want to congratulate the 3 ribbon winners, all of them great photographers. I was a bit unfortunate to have such brilliant competitors in this same challenge.

Taking this shot was like a dream for me. Had been looking for a place and moment like this and finally found it during a wonderful trip to Cusco-Peru. I had never seen so many stars in my life. The glow behind the photographer comes from the city of Urubamna down the valley. The blueish light behind the far mountains is originated by distant thunderstorms a few valleys away.

Many thanks to my brother Andy for posing and helping me to achieve this image.

i thought i'd commented on this after the challenge rolled over to congratulate you on such an amazing photograph, but apparently i hadnt .. its just so beautiful that i had to comment now seeing i'm going to pik it as my fav pic .. probably miss out coz i've been here too long .. oh well .. it was a pleasure .. !!..:)

Totally awesome, and I love the darkness, sprinkled with all those amazing glittering stars..... I love it.....
So close to the ribbon, and so deserved to be in the top 10.....

Very nice night photo, the glow of light below the near horizon is great. It really emphasizes the foreground nicely. Congratulations on the HM for this beautiful photo!

It's an absolutely clear, sharp image with a perfect technique and perfect esthetic . Nobody can rate this picture a 2 , unless with closed eyes. Congratulations, Alfredo

My brother is a great photographer and this picture proves it !! the four 2 votes probably made the difference, this picture deserved to ribbon. Who and why could possible rate this picture a 2 or a 3 is an enigma, or is it?

I love the shot, but with the photographer there, it's no longer his dream! Excellent composition! Is light below from a town in the valley or your car using lights for effect? Whichever, it is great.

i wasnt going to vote on this challenge but thought i'd just have a quick look at the entries ... as a thumb i wasnt absolutely sure wot was going on but it looked interesting .. on opening this totally took my breath away .. this is THE most beautiful image .. the scene is definitely a photographer's dream and you've captured it perfectly .. =10
