| Gorgeous color and I love the detail and detail you've captured. Cropping a bit too tight on top though. Fits the challenge super well...can really see this as a pic in NG. Well done. |

| Very good depth of field. Textures are captured beautifully. You can almost feel the softness of the feathers. The lighter colored hues of the feathers brings you eyes attention to them. Must be really warm. |

| This is a NG caliber photo. Stunning really. Excellent color, exposed to perfection. I barely noticed that you cut off a little of the neck. It matters little to me though. Nice job 8 |

Bugger. Always someone who is a clear winner. Well done and congrats on your forthcoming ribbon ;)
Usualy wish good luck on images I rate 10, but don't really think you'll need it.
Super coloring, and great DOF. Too many people neglect the BG, including fences, white card, people etc but this is perfect with more pink birds. Great stuff.

the way the arc of the neck is cut off sort of detracts from the smooth flow of the bird overall..
nice and crisp, with a nicely blurred BG
