Wow! Can't tell what it is. Very good abstract. Nice coloring. I'll look after the challenge to find out more about it. Good luck in the callenge. Gracious aka Grayce

I'm not sure of what everything is but I like the clarity, color, and variation of form around the center. A work of art. Nice shot.

I'm not exectly sure what I'm looking at, but I know it looks awsome. It appears to be a bunch of sperm trying to enter an egg or a bunch of red blood cell surrounding a slice from a citrus fruit. I'd like to know how you did this.

wow, great color! nice picture

I'm guessing that you're being asked "What is it?" a lot - my family votes on a lemon slice and a pomegranate seen through red acetate/glass ... clever title - (if that's a real word!)

That's really cool

this is very beautiful! cant tell what kind of fruit it is, but love the abstract of it. i can see the reflection of the camera, so i assume it was taken behind glass..still an excellent shot. 8--shutterfly

Great coulour and nice placement of subject. I like this photo because my eyes are constantly searching for details all around... This photo, in my opinion, is ART. Well done.

Very interesting.

I have no idea what this is but it is a very interesting picture. This would have been a better composition in my opinion had you brought the center of that round fruit lower in the frame and closer to an intersecting third line, at least so that space above and below weren't even.

really pretty, artsy. love the color and design ~indigo997

I have just GOT to know how this shot was done! Love the vivid colors, and focus. I'm not crazy about the composition, although I can't put my finger on why. lhall-8

This is a very good and creative idea. I can tell there is a slice of orange in there simulating the egg, and I think the "sperms" are granate seeds, or grape seeds?? The lighting is great, which gives different shades of reds and brings out the different textures. What's the background? I can't tell. But let me tell you something, I can see the reflection of your camera's lens at the middle of the orange, was it because of the use of a glass at the top of everything??
Very interesting and creative shot. I liked it a lot. Good luck! 9.

Very cool image! I think the slice is from a grapefruit, but what is the stuff surrounding the rind? Very bizarre, unique shot, I like it! 9 Swash

oooOOOOooooOOOOOoh what's this?
09/09/2002 03:31:00 PM
yes, it has many seeds, but what is it?
09/09/2002 01:09:00 PM
i see your camera... just kidding. great shot, very interesting.

Interesting. Compositionally, I think it would have been stronger if the subject was in one of the corners instead of left center. wild colors. karmat

This is great! I had to look up the title.. GREAT choice. Love the colors, the detail.. kinda funny concept (title+pic). I'm glad you didn't center it, the composition is good. 10 Jenguin

This is a great idea. I immediately got it even in the thumbnail. The bright ring is great and makes the picture more succesful, giving a hint of the outer rim of the cell. I think the ... sperm ... should have had better focus. Anyway, good luck, this picture got my attention. Colors are great also.

This is wierd, but strangely cool. What is it?
09/08/2002 09:10:00 PM
its a nice picture but I truthfully can't tell what this is. Is there fruit or vegis somewhere in this?
09/08/2002 09:00:00 PM
This is the first photo that has really stood out to me from looking over the thumbnails, so it's my first 10 for the week! I love it, beautiful colour and textures, and gorgous composition - lisae
