 Not much processing. Simply adjusted the levels and saturation. Sharpened a bit. All done in Picasa.

I love the negative space and the background texture. The lighting on the yellow is spectacular. I would have cloned out the plant material on the left side. Great mood!

Wonderful lighting on the flower - yes that lens looks like it's going to work out just fine! Is this portulaca?

Like the simplicity of this. Lighting is terrific, beautiful DOF. I think there is a bit too much negative space - I would crop a little more on both the left and right sides.
