 I was really in a bad state of mind, as if I were going mad. So, I tried to portray that state of insanity in my self-portrait. I have no studio So, I used both natural light coming through the window and a yellow tungsten light. Not sure how much I could capture my inner state.

I like how the look in the eyes and the "wild" hair fit with your title. I wonder how this would look a with a bit more cropped off the left hand side.

You picked a hard subject to portray as a nightmare. I can see the portrait as someone who may be disturbed, but not so much a nightmare.
