I'm surprised this didn't do better. I gave it an 8 without hesitation. It's really beautiful, Jeff. |

this really does look like two worlds colliding. Nice. |

I don't think your title is helping you here. I love the way you've captured the stormy dark clouds on the left with the bright chearful fluffy clouds on the right. Maybe a title that played on that would help viewers see that dichotomy a little better. Maybe "from stormy night to sunny day"? Or something else close to that. GREAT capture by the way. With no title at all I can see dichotomy in this shot. I can't say that for a many entries in this. 9 |

Good image. I like the composition and color. The buildings are just a tad harsh and that big cloud in the upper left somehow distracts me. "Is that smog or smoke" seems to keep going through my head. Otherwise very nice! *7* |

like it. I would have dodged the bright sides of the buildings a bit more but I like the idea. |

Very powerful(and maybe even foreboding) with the ominous clouds and the dark city. Only the great highlights give any definition to those tall fortress like structures. If it wasn't for the multiple bridges, you could think of the river as huge moat. Great photo! |

Nice image, but since the focal point is the cityscape, it's not really "earth" in the classical sense. Therefore, it's not a true dichotomy. (Your use of O'er implies classicism.) |
