Thanks for all the comments. I got this idea late in the challenge after my first idea didn't pan out. Wasn't really satisfied with final result but submitted to see how it was received.
Metered with the sunglasses completely covering the lens, locked the exposure and moved the glasses away and shot. crop and autolevels. |

Didn't think this would do so well, but I always hope for the best. Did you manually set the exposure? It must have been hard getting it right. Good luck in the future, you have a good imagination. |

This is a neat shot. I'm not sure how it fits into the technical scheme of things. I guess I don't care either. This is a pretty cool technique with the glasses. From the thumbnail all I could think of was "blowout city" but now that I see the image, I get it. Good shot and a great idea. |

Great shot. Amazing what a little polarization can do. |

I like this! It's a little bit too bright in the centre tho, but great contrasts between the images in the lenses and the rest of the pic. |

I like the point of view, you have chosen, and I prefer the part of the image underexposed -7- |

Until now. |

very cool idea. the over exposed background really takes away from it though. |

A great idea. Funny too. It's like the invisble man, sorta. Metering on the sun glasses part of the photo created a different type of effect that is pleasing and unique. I'll have to come back after this ends to read the comments! |

Inventive pov. Would like the polarized portion to be larger and the sunwashed part less. |
