 Thank you for all the great comments on this. It is a little different then my norm, but I love this picture with all of my heart... because she is my heart.

I never really explained what I was going for on this picture, so I thought I would do it now... She is my greatest strength because she is what I live for. She is what gets me up in the morning and what drives me to succeed in life. She is my greatest weakness because of the pain she brings me when she gets hurt, when she's mad at me, when she feels embarassed, when I think about what my life will be like without her when she goes to college, or a million other things that break me down like nothing in the wolrd can.

If you are a parent then you understand. If you aren't a parent then I pray that you become one someday so you can truly know what unconditional love is like and all the joys and pains that come with it.

wonderful image todd. simple, elegant, and highly charged. i love the darkness, the ambiguity, the faint threat in the perfectly innocent gesture. the textures, the quality of the cotton dress. all simply perfect. thank you.

Wow this is spectacular and powerful. It is so true. I hope that people without children get this but I don't think you can "feel" the meaning unless you have a child. Love the lighting and use of shadows. 10

Lighting here is very very powerful, awesome texture in the hand...the girls expression is also incredibly thought provoking, what is she thinking, whats her relationship to the hands without a body. what does it mean? wow...

wow like this one has a creepiness to it. Is the the title refering to the child or could the focal point be the wedding ring? or could it be the child and the ring representing family? or simply just the child. anywho i like the picture alot and it makes me think. Trying to figure out if that is a man hand or a woman hand leaning towards woman......

Wonderful lighting. I am not sure if I like the hands of the adult. This has a classic feel to it. Her "non expression" is wonderful.

Wow, this struck me! I think you had a different meaning behind it judging by your title, but....this is a POWERFUL piece! Perhaps, I'm looking more deeply than I should be, but I see this as a very powerful "good touch, bad touch" type of statement and it really hits the mark in that aspect. LOVE IT!!! I guess we all see things differently and that's the beauty of art/photography, isn't it? 9 from me!
