Received a cryptic PM from you thanking me for commenting on this photo, but I hadn't . I thought since I took the time to look it up though I would give it a go. I try to stay ahead of how many I receive. I also try to leave comments on what I rate the highest and the lowest, but often times I don't know what to say about the tweeners. Tweeners I define as bascially good photos, but they didn't jump out at me.

I like the color and contrast in this photo and all the different umbrella angles I can see while they are free falling. It looks like the tree might have pixleated or suffered from some over-sharpening. The little specks in the blue sky above the unbrellas are sort of odd also. None the less I think it is a good stop action shot.

It's a shame that those little black specks ruin the nice clear blue sky. After the challenge is over you could clone them out :)

Artifacts take away from the over all impression.

I love the colors and the surreal, joyful quality of this shot. I wonder how this would look with a pure blue-sky background? Though the tree gives perspective, it's a little distracting.

I don't see how point of view made this shot more interesting. Nice shot anyway.

very nice, whimsical, colorful- I like it! I think I would prefer it without the tree in the background, though. 7 from me.

This might have a unique POV - but it seems like the pic is too chaotic to get the feel for it. Is that sensor dust on the outside edges of everything or JPG compresssion?

How wonderful! Are these small paper cocktail umbrellas? In any case, it's lovely. My single suggestion is that the background be all sky with no tree in the corner, it is slightly distracting. Beautiful.

Designs and colours all work well in this picture.. a clear blue backdrop rather than the bushes/trees (which show signs of over manipulation) would have made this perfect.
A great idea, well captured.....8

Nice and colorful and an interesting subject. The black dots around the umbrellas don't enhance the quality of it though.
