This image is too softly focused, but it is a good concept.

I think the angle is wrong for the depth of field used.

Why the blur?

For whatever reasons, the eye seems to naturally fall to the candle in the front. Because its focus is a bit soft, it would seem that the shot was out of focus. Only after following the candles back through the shot and back up, did I notice that the top right one is very nicely focused.
The tilted composition is very nice.

ok

A little sharper would have been nice

Nice concept. A deeper DOF would have got more of the candles in focus.

Nice, liked it

I love the idea, but think it's a bit soft.

I feel the DOF is too narrow here, and even the main candle is not quite in focus, so the eye has nowhere to anchor in the image.

Nice idea but seems blurry.

I make home made tealights...better than most on the market...just in case you're interested in buying great smelling candles!! Nice image and DOF.
( sorry about the cheap advertisement from me)

The lack of focus on most of the candles doesn't do it for me.

Cool shot. Nice lighting.

Very interesting illusion. The OOF is effective for an object of this mood (candle).

Should really have used a better aperture. If the photo consists soley of candles, it should really deliver them all to the viewer imo.
