 This is probably a better entry for Burst of Colour, but I didn't think of it for that.

Anyway, shot handheld at 1/15s, the original image was not very sharp, so the final edit is not very crisp. My lighting faded at dusk, and I couldn't be bothered resetting the whole scene with artificial light, so here it is. I should have pushed it to ISO 1600 and maybe got it workable at 1/60.

Interestingly, my daughters set of pencils didn't come with a blue pencil, so I had to do a minor recolouring of the turquoise pencil to make it blue. Also some dodging to bring up the pencils (like I said the natural light was fading.

The bright light up the centre is a focused torch beam.

I'm not expecting to score well with this image, but I took the shot, so here it is. It's my first 24 hr challenge! I'll guess about 5.

Lovely use of natural light with a bit of added artificial to create this look. The softness works well, but I can imagine that a similar setup with a bit crisper focus would make this quite stock worthy. Very nice shaping of the pencils - creates a soothing geometric design. And again, the light is excellent here. Nice work.

Almost perfect execution here, it's just a tad blown out IMHO around the green and blue pencils. Still I give this an 8 for it's vibrant colors and wonderful leading lines.

nice line, and refreshing look at a well seen subject around here. I wish the focus would be sharper at the sharpest point. I like the border, it adds without taking away.

It's a nice photo just like it was when it took 8th place in the last lucky 7 challenge. Well maybe not, yours is a bit soft and noise.
