Oh no! You are kidding me that this one is in 22nd place!!!

Honestly, this was one of the ones I was sure would ribbon. This is such a spectacularly photographed moon shot -- and such a clear depiction of dichotomy.

Well. . .I'm glad I was one of 4 people who voted intelligently on this one. Ok. . . maybe the 5 people who gave you 9's too . . .but anything lower than an 8 is ridiculous!

If the dichotomy is light vs. dark then I follow you. It's a great shot, but it doesn't holler "dichotomy" at me. 6.

Wow, it looks like the moon has been cut in half and it's hollow inside. I've never seen a shot like that before.

Good work. Kind of curious what you used to take the shot? Just a normal telephoto lens or did you piggyback your camera on a telescope? Nice work. Fairly crisp picture of the moon.

I was hoping to see a lunar dichotomy, I was actually hoping to do one, but it was too cloudy on the right night :( This is a wonderful image:)

I love moon shots and am very glad someone did one for this challenge!! I always get fed to the Wolves with moon shots, since this is SUCH a great moon shot and I feel meets the challenge a 9 from me...
