 Unfortunately this is not the picture I intended to use. I only had 14 minutes to upload the finished product, when I arrived home with the prop’s (Egad $5.25 per pack – I quit buying them for my parents in 1966 when they were about that same price for a carton), built the fire and started shooting the pictures. It's a shame as I really wanted to make a 'double' Point of View ~ that being the unopened pack of cig's being ‘Smoked’ in the fireplace and my personal opinion (POV) regarding smoking. I detest it for many reasons. The ugly blob of plastic is what’s left of the cellophane wrapper. It seemed to me when I did this photo it may indeed help a person to quit smoking if they want to. Just buy the cig’s as usual then find a fire to throw the unopened pack into instead of opening it and smoking them. The money savings would immediately come into focus and perhaps one’s health would start to improve. Whenever you had the urge you could buy another pack and throw it into the fire… Who knows it may even be less expensive than some of the other alternatives out there.

This is a really cool photo. I like the moral behind the photo. You got a really nice shot of the fire, and I like how you made the cigarettes your main image!

One thing, the top half of the picture is too dark, it makes too much of a contrast between the bright flame and itself. You might want to enhance that part of the photo. Other than that...great job!

took the opinion-related meaning of the words "point of view", nice, surprised more people didn't. everybody used the literal definition of this challenge, way to think outside the box.

Spelling mistake eeeek! (It's the English teacher in me, I notice those things before I even look at the pic :)
